I want to change my phone master socket, the old one has two wires connected to it on terminals A & B, the new socket has six 'push on' connectors. Which terminals do the wires connect to on the new socket?

1 or 2 gang switch

The wire from terminal B (blue with white bands) will connect to terminal 2. Wire from Terminal A (White with blue bands) will connect to Terminal 5. If u have a wire which is Orange with White Bands then this connects to terminal 3 and is the bell shunt. Lee-Byron Oakes, TTL Technology.
