Nearly full hard drive on laptop

We have a message saying that the hard drive of 65GB is nearly full. We have
copied the ITunes file to an external hard drive, but each time we connect the iPhone it all loads back on to the C drive. How can we clear some space on the Cdrive? I'm very confused!

What is the equivalent of Intel HD Graphics 3000 to Nvidia and AMD graphics?

Uncheck the "Synchronise automatically" option, or check the "Synchronise manually" option - I forget which way round it is!

Either way, stop iTunes synchronising automatically...
