No...yet again the EDL,had a skinful of German Lager..to summon up the courage to throw bottles and shout insults, outside the East London Mosque.
It was near a Mosque , probably on their way to make a 'Peaceful Protest' after the pubs shut.
"Barking to the Whitechapel Rd?"

The Central Line?
District Line.
Or the Hammersmith & city, but definitely not the central line.
Definitely the District. I used to travel to the City on it every day.
I'm being pedantic, technically the District and the Hammersmith and city are the same line at that point. :)
Oh, right. Is the 'Metropolitan' still in operation? That used to stop at Whitechapel.
Ahhh! Barking?... A town where I was born & brought up & married. It is steeped in history with the beautiful church of St Margaret. Names such as Captain Cook, Elizabeth Fry & Guy Fawks are all part of its history, but all that seems to be forgotten now. I've been back several times and I could cry at what 'My Barking' has become.
