iPhone and iPad not picking up parents wifi

Hi. My iPhone and iPad are not picking up my parents wifi signal. The router is ZyXEL 5453. My parents laptop (running Windows 7) is using the wifi signal so the router is working. Why would neither iPhone or iPad pick this signal up when it did during my last visit? What settings should I look for via the laptop? Many thanks
