A year since my Dad passed away......

Friend had her horse put to sleep. Fatal case of colic.
Mums birthday. Took her to lunch.
Parrot has mysterious spots of blood in her cage. But she is clean and eating. One of the dogs has ripped her dew claw half off.

But of an emotional roller coaster day!

Let's hope tomorrow is better.

I bought a small book in Chester Cathedral recently; it is entitled 'This Too Will Pass'............ in other words, these things will never go away but we learn to cope.

oh darling, is your parrot getting new feathers? My sisters budgies tend to bleed because they scratch when teh feathers are coming through.You know what they say you can only ever reach the bottom then the only way is upx

I hate days like this. Luckily they are rare.

@firewatch- had a look at pop (parrot) looks like a feather is coming away so blood could have come from there. Can't see any blood on her. But will keep an eye on the feather, may have to pull it out.
