good to see we still produce fine actors, and decent tv, shame it's not that often

Yes Em, although I think we're better than we think we are, it's just there is little investment in our industry.

rockyr not sure that's true, if so how would many excellent British films have been made, it's just we kowtow to the Americans, where there are big bucks, but most of what i have watch in the last few years hasn't been american made, maybe their money, but our expertise. If you want a corker of a film go see The Artist, i have already posted a thread about it, it's so rare to come out of a theatre thinking that was just great.
