Huge cake

Got a birthday cake delivered with my shopping today. It was advertised as Mega, but it is flipping ginormous - 32cm x 52cm chocolate tray bake with sweets and chocolate swirls, etc on top. Think it was only £9.50 which is a good price for a shop-bought cake.

Rowan, we wanted something different, so we had three cakes, different shapes - round, square, ball - piled on top of each other, different flavours in the different layers. The icing was in peacock colours, and we had a great pile of peacock feathers bursting out of the top. (yes, we did have a peacock theme to our wedding!)

I've got a design in mind for a gothic revival design using sugar paste tudor roses and scroll work planning on a real bottom layer and dummy tiers above as only expecting it to be a small wedding

I made 5 pizzas 16"x20" square for a kids' party last week or so - they sent word back for another 4 for the grown-ups (luckily I'd made enough spare dough!
