So I once was a facebookaholic, I spent many a day on facebook, posting trivial and stupid status's, on the hour, every hour. Everyone who knew me knew I was an addict. Come new year I made a resolution to stop this terrible posting and letting the whole world know my personal business. Now, I proudly inform, my addiction? Has stopped. Since new year I have not posted a single status and only had the occasional nose at my feed from time to time. Now that I have take a step back into reality and away from my screen/phone I have realised how utter rubbish the whole thing is altogether. Im greatly considering deleting my facebook completely. I know some like this site and others do not so I ask for you guys to give me the pros and cons of deleting my account. Right now im sitting on the fence.

As I've said elsewhere before, I still fail to see the desire and attraction of posting every picture possible of myself from the age of 6 years old, holiday, birthday and office party snaps, pictures of my car or how the extension is coming along on my house, nor feeling the need to let people know what sort of mood I'm in or what my 'status' is or the need to 'poke'...

I find it useful, it's entertainment for when I'm bored, can keep up with what my mates who don't live near me any more are up to, it feeds ice breakers, it's a one stop shop for arranging meetings and rugby meets and I've just started my little mess about micro-blog which keeps me creative!
I also met my lass thanks to facebook (perving at her on her mate's photo).
I use it mainly in the same way I use this site, a little bit of casual social interaction throughout the day, no harm in that!
