Neighbours on one side have two dogs which they keep penned in their small paved back garden at all times. They are never walked and are bored as a dog can get. Consequently they have chewed through their fence panels and now through two of mine (two lines of fence along one boundary if you will). Are they liable for the cost of replacing that which their dogs have damaged?
They are not the kind of people you can talk to and have done lots of yelling at people over the years, including an old fellow of 90 years.
i would say yes, if they are responsible for the damage then they are responsible for the repair cost....but how you get it out of them I have no idea....poor dogs....
If you believe that Mosaic, then perhaps the dogs in an earlier life were like the owner of them now, and they are in a timeless loop going from one to another life...
