You ask specifically about London. Cant answer for London but i can say this about our home. My kids feel the need to do halloweeny things like pumpkins by the door step, face masks and trick or treating (supervised of course). We allow that. I see no problem with that. its after all fun. As adults I think we do as most other non asian adults do. Just grin and bear it and hope it goes away soon.
Must also remind you that Hindus will be celebrating the festival of Diwali on 1/2/3 November. this festival includes lights and fireworks. So in places like London and Leicester you may see fireworks associated with Diwali.
As most Christian festivals originate from pagan times, and therefore are related to the seasons, I don't see why not.

Im my case, I am asian and like to celebrate Halloween. I think this is fine as I dont follow the religion I was born into/what my family believe in (hinduism). I do not have a set faith or belief in one particular religion, I do although believe and have an interest in bits of all existing religions, including wicca and angels. But when someone at uni or whatever asks 'what are you' I just say hindu as its quicker!
