NCL Norwegian Jade

Has anyone cruised on NCL cruise ships.I have booked on Norwegian Jade Med & The Holy Land.
We are travelling on the Norwegian Jade and as I have only cruised with P&O ,do not have any gen,apart from what I have seen online,where I cannot find a explicit answers to my questions.

Do they have a drinks package apart from soft drinks which can be used as mixers?My husband likes a gin tonic or vodka coke.
I think there is a wine package but,again.the info. is not very clear...so another question here.

If there are packages ,when and how does one obtain them.

Beginning to wish had stayed with P&O.!!!!

Have trawled through all the cruise forums but to no avail..beginning to think will have to cancel..back to a decent cruise line.

When we went on the Jade (from Barcelona) this time last year there was a shop after cruise check in that sold us brandy and bacardi and we were allowed to take it on board. We had plenty to drink and just bought the mixers.
NCL was very good and there is so much choice with food on board. We are now P and O fans though as they don't seem to charge quite as much for onboard items.

why don't you just ring them up and ask them?

The Norwegian line used to use Dover as its home port in the UK, they were here regularly - they look beautiful ships.

No.Boxtops.it is not just the drinks package...there seems to be no organization ...ring NCL ...they don`t know the answer or you get two representatives telling you different .all sorts of expenses added ..have tried forums but,again,conflicting answers.
Nabob,how did you find the cabin...we are booked in a BA Balcony one,deck 10.but have been reading about how small they are.No tea tray,one has to rely on cabin service for one`s early morning tea/coffee.Perhaps you can enlighjten me better.

I think we were on same grade and deck as you and the rooms were very pleasant and they had a tea tray which was the first time that I had encountered one as the American ships don't have them!!!!

They don`t have them in Spain,we take a travel kettle when we go holiday...there is nothing like that first cuppa in the morning!!!

Forgot,have you any idea what the weather will be like in the Med last two weeks in March...on an average.
