toyota rav 4alarm keeps going off!

Its been goin off all night.sat in drive with no wind etc,rabdomly going off every few hours,then ten mins,then fine again for days!driving us mad!did fet a newkey a bit ago is it poss to be too sensitive or setting wrong?!

My Land Rover did the same thing and it was traced to spiders swinging on the sensors. But then it is parked in an old barn. Try a spray of bug killer and leave overnight.

Do they have he sensors above the OFF/S + N/S windscreen? mine are like that & can be set off by cats,
