Max is back home where he belongs and playing the sympathy card at every chance he gets. For the next fortnight he's on a strict regime of antibiotics and painkillers very short walks on the lead and several very small meals a day all toped off with a buster collar, which he hates with a passion, other then that he seems ok once he'd checked the house to make sure nobody had stolen anything while he was off duty

Don't let him look up if it's raining outside!

Bless him :-)
You might have to get more security installed in your house - he doesn't look very scary with the 'cone of shame' around his neck.

He is looking pretty bright and alert though. I bet that you are all glad that he is home. ;-)
Get well soon max- luv Pablo xxx
Aww! Paddy, Sorry to say am only just back home after being in foreign lands converting the masses to Ab Editor, but I feel that my wishes, for Max, are good.. Give him all my ((HUG)), and scratches - in good places are received in my best intentions. xx
eh? ^
Sorry BOO, been away for a while.....

Happy Max is back though :-)

Once again thank you all for your best wishes. He's feeling a little happier now as we've decided to take the collar off as long as Trish or myself are about to keep an eye on him, but I don't think he'll be to happy when we go to bed and it goes back on.
Awww, poor Max! Glad he is on the mend though! If he gets too upset about the cone collar you have, which is the same as the one we use, maybe you can get one of the inflatable ones. Apparently they are tollerated better. I've not tried one on any of our wolfies and I'm told that if there is a paw injury, it won't necessarily stop them getting at it. But it might be worth a try. Lots of cuddles to Max!
Glad to hear that he's on the mend (he's a beautiful dog - but then you know that already!) xx
think i must have missed a post, what did the xray show hope it was good news xxx
just read lankeelas post so pleased that it was good news xxxx
If you google Procollar you can order online or Pets At Home sell them. So glad he is home with you, that is better than any medicine.

Evening Lankeela. We've just been out for a short walk while he did his poo and pee and Max has now resumed his usual job of keeping my feet warm and making sure I don't sneak off any where without him so he seems ok. I do know both Trish and I feel better for having him back home were he belongs
Glad to hear he is home, well done Maxxx
Your patio needs jet washing.

Zac, so long as it's not moss and slippy I'd rather have a bit of natural colour.
