which ones has he got?
I would go back to the G.P.
Have you some E45 cream, I find this a miracle worker for everything .
Well, if it is painful, then it is probably infected and would need an antibiotic cream.

Synalar would be the drug of choice to use initially , but if that didn't improve the situation within 48 hours, then it would need to be substituted by aureomycin ointment.

Many thanks to you all. Brenda
Elocon cream (on prescription) always works for me and the young factors.
I tried E45 because mrs factor has used it successfully and it helped my patches of excema but resulted in a different type of rash in nearby areas
I use Cetraben on Little Tiggs with his eczema and I use it on my hands for dermatitis. I find it better than E45.
Hc45 i use on sore hands- looks like e45
My ex had really really reeeallu bad eczema he couldnt use anything on his skin and eventually i used to slather cold natural yoghurt on his back or olive oil!! Daft but he couldnt use normal soaps creams or moisturizers xxx awful thingto have xx
Also forgot to mention, my colleague suffers with bad eczema and says that she often has to slap an emolient based cream on her hands thicky and wear cotton gloves overnight. Seems to do the trick.
Oh only product he could use to soften skin- loccitaine shea butter... Expensive but good!x
