my op has been cancelled :(

or to be exact, it was never really on in the first place. I assumed the op I was going for was to try a different way after my failed op last November. With just a few days to go, I just got a call from the surgeon's PA to say there had been an error made at their end, and the surgery I was booked for was for what I had back in November.

Instead I've got to see him next Wednesday in outpatients clinic, and I have a sneaky feeling he's gonna tell me nothing can be done...

Sometimes in life you have to kick and scream to get what you need. Operations are routinely cancelled I'm afraid, so make a list of what you want to know and say the stress is killing you, is there anything he can do. Good luck.

Same feeling as all the rest above, Postdog, fingers et al crossed for next Wednesday and hopefully you will come back with some positive or at least affirmative news to share.
