Im making a Victoria sponge and usually i put jam and buttercream in middle. I was wondering if i could chop strawberries in small pieces and mix them in the buttercream and then spread it in middle of cake? Would it work?

Indeed! Yes please.................
ask B00

but yes, that would work....

As to the sponge, add the egss very, very slowly for a lovely moist cake.....
The juice from the strawberries might make th buttercream a bit loose so you might want to chop thm then leave them in a sieve, sprinkled with a little sugar for a hwile to draw out the juice.
You can blend that sweet juice into the buttercream (drool)
You could Woofgang but then that would defeat the object of drawing it out in the first pace lol
well no because you can adjust the buttercream at that stage to take account of the extra liquid
No, it sounds crap. In fact, don't bother tasting it, i'll do it for you. It'll be a hardship- but i'll persevere (i'm kind like that)
