Time off work

Hospital op over a week ago - self certified myself for a few days then after concern went to docs monday gone and they signed me off for a week.

So due back tuesday but concerned as i still arent well.....tried to make docs appt for monday but nothing available until tue pm.

So.....i will call docs mon am to see if any cancellations but what do i do about work....ring tomorrow and advise them that i am back at docs on tuesday and i wont be in tuesday?

Yes, if you cant get an appointment on Mond, call and tell your employer you will bring in your sick note as soon as you can.
