Yes, that is true about the grooming, redhelen.
But it is so much easier to contact kids from behind a computer screen, don't you think?
The grooming you refer is still happening - the internet is in addition.

Same here Woofgang, My Son in New Zealand and other family members dotted around, FB is great for chatting and keeping up with what people are doing.

I even get a few Atheist pokes in as well!!

Parents certainly need to be more responsible and aware of what their children are doing on the internet.

I'm often amazed at the amount of personal information some people post of Facebook. After all, they are literally braodcasting to anyone in the world who cares to look!

I'm thinking of my step-daughter who chatters to her 'friends' about what most people would consider the most private and confidential matters.
