Qery about 1911 census on ancestry
Does anyone know why Ancestry have yet to uncover the infirmity column on the 1911 census? I have to keep going to my not so local library and pay to find things on Find My Past. Why have they revealed all but Ancestry haven’t?

Using the dates of the living children, and the places they were born, have a look here for births of likely candidates........and the check up by looking for the deaths.

I warn you all - its a total waste of money (find my past site ) I belong to Ancestry and pay the subscription quarterly. When I received an email from FMP at the start of the year telling me I can view the actual 1911 census (including the blanked out column) for only 10 credits instead of 20 or 30 (can't remember) I decided to purchase 60 credits - the least you can buy-for £6.95. Typical - the same week Ancestry brought out the actual 1911 census sheets instead of the summary sheets which have been on there for about a year, but remember Ancestry do not reveal the end column. Using my 60 credits on the FMP site, I viewed three family members but none of them had bothered to fill in the column anyway - they had said in the email that exciting things were written in there about family members, some very humorous etc etc but every one I saw they had just left it blank so was a waste of money. Also beware of Find My Past payments - every view cost 10 credits but on finding a requested record it only showed half the page, so I used the slider bar at the side. When I did this it bombed me out of the viewing page back to the records and charged me 10 credits - it did this 3 times so it ate up my 60 credits £6.95 in 10 minutes without me finding out anything :(
