My first and last request ( having gleaned answers from others puzzlers). A clue for 'He is in charge as a result of a blunder by the King. I want it to be hidden but I cannot see it. Anagram? 6 letters

First part - a blunder, otherwise known as a ....


Then put the initials of a king, (or even the present Queen). Gives a colloquial term for the boss, and also a type of tape used for sticking cables across a television studio floor!
