Pointless. but not pointless

As the name says couples are looking for pointless answers. But in some rounds when they put six names up why do they have no pointless answers
I find this quite annoying as this is the object of the game.

In the early rounds they have to find the answer with the least number of points, but not necessarily nil. In the final it has to be zero to win, ie nobody out of the 100 members of the public gave that answer. It really is not rocket science. Having said that I do find the knowledge of some of the contestants is quite good. I doubt whether I would know some of the obscure questions that are asked.
