I think there are some people who might be quite sensitive to something like this and feel quite dissappointed if they weren't marked as best answer, and as I said earlier, it's not a competition.
I will just be one that will opt out of using it.

That's true JJ but I must admit I sometimes see a reg plate and wonder what it means as I can't always work it out.
