I have fitted a second box from a dual LNB connector from the satellite dish, the picture etc is good ,but i can not get the tv guide to work ,it keeps saying,programme synopsis not available . do i need to tune something in via services on the remote ??? THANK YOU .

Disconnect 2nd box from LNB & run 2nd box from output No 2 from 1st box.

Have you got a valid Sky subscription for the second box? I think you need one to use the guide and other features.
I think whiskeryron has the problem identified.

If you check the signal strength I think you will find it is low, or below average, which prevents the TV guide from keeping a lock onthe signal

It can be check with a 'signal analyser' but that is an expensive piece of kit.

One of my TVs receives a fine picture, but from time to time, I just cannot get the TV guide, even with a booster - but with the booster I am able to get more of the TV guide, regularly
