Its so cold tonight.

The heating is on full blast, I've got extra cardigans on and socks but I still can't get warm.Its been a lovely day here(East Devon)blue skies and sunshine but the ice never melted all day.Just hope it does'nt snow.How is it where you are?

It is absolutely freezing. I have been leaving the heating on a low setting all day.
And it's still freezing.

Never really made it much above freezing today here in Belfast. But at least my boiler has now been fixed so I'm nice and toasty when I'm in the house, not having to rely on cuddling up to the cat for warmth

i have the wood burner roaring, the heating on and the electric blanket warming up! havent looked outside but the thermometer said -5 a couple of hours ago (not sure i believe its quite that cold though)

Just looked out at car - doesn't seem any frost yet here in Leicestershire but is cold. We are keeping warm with heaters on full. I will take a hot water bottle to bed with me - its so lovely and comforting.

We all moan, in comparison to Eastern Europe it is quite balmy here. We may have cold weather but nothing compared to them. Oh and when was the last time we had a volcano / earthquake. ( I know volcanoes and earthquakes are in other places ) All things in perspective I think.

We have just come back from walking the dogs, -3! it doesnt actually feel that cold though.

RATTER, I agree just been out with Callie, and yes, it is cold, but if you're wrapped up, which I was, it doesn't feel that cold!.....glad to be back indoors though!.........

Ratter I thought the same when I was coming home from work. Think it's because it's that calm & still no wind or windchill factor.

I'm off to make a hot chocy leccy blanket been on for the past hour so my bed should be nice & toasty.
