I have just had a Sky Engineer replace my faulty Sky+HD Box. In the past I have always been told that the faulty box was mine to do whatever I wanted with,however,He said He had to take faulty box away to be Refurbished,I rang Sky and asked "What happens to my faulty box"? Reply "It is yours to do whatever you want with".When I explained what had happened Sky Customer Service quickly changed their tune,namely,"Oh Yes, he would take the box away for Refurbishment. I am not happy with explanation and would ask if anyone else has had this happen to them? Many thanks for any replies.
They do definitely offer refurbished ones. Ours wasnt working a while back and its all they offered usand wanted to charge us £60 for the pleasure. After several heated phonecalls they backed down and came out free and replaced it with a brand new one. Or so they said lol.
