Is it possible to transfer a .WAV file from my computer to my HTC Wildfire phone. I have a USB connecting lead. As I would like to use the file as my ring tone/alarm would I need to change the file extension first? Thanks in anticipation.

If you want a free site with brill tones (and easy downloading) post back, and I'll post the link.

Thanks Al. I will have a look at that and see if I understand it!

Hi Al, have had a look and it is talking about MP3 rather than .WAV. How do I convert it. It is very short so won't need editing (hopefully)?

Thanks Al - what would I do without you!!
lol ... Hope it works ok.
I know some phones just use .MID format. I know because I wanted to get a trim phone ringtone and I couldn't get one in .MID: and the nature of the format means it is difficult to convert other formats to it.
