Help with a Mcafee problem please

I have a windows 7 laptop which came with mcafee installed. I let the free registration expire but the Mcafee firewall is still on.
The problem is that Mcafee it is set to check when a program wants internet access and I clicked 'block' when firefox wanted internet access ( clicked by mistake I might add). So I cant use firefox at the minute.
Anyone know how to change it so firefox not blocked? If I launch Mcafee all the options are greyed out because its expired.

I agree with fender - your problem is that you've got Mcafee!

I use AVG free myself - it's unobtrusive, and I've never had any problems.

I agree with fender62 as well. Go to SEARCH and type in McAfee and then delete every line that says McAfee in the sentence.Then RESTART your computer. That will ensure that all the programme is delete. McAfee is rubbish. I use AVG free and don't have any problems at all.Good luck.

You'd need good luck if you follow that ↑ advice!.... don't simply delete anything in that way, un-install it properly using programs and features in the control panel, then as an extra precaution download and run the macafee removal tool...
