Its not that bad either inn West Yorkshire, about 3' inches of snow has fallen... I do hope it doesn't rain... I can't cope with the Ice.

My update from yesterday, considering we all had ample warning about the snow coming our way, there was not one gritter to be seen in my area of Salisbury Plain until the roads were nearly undrivable, so what happened to the highway agency's statement at the beginning of Winter saying the local councils were stockpiled with salt and ready to go if needed, When I left work at 6 last night I managed to get my car to within a couple of hundred yards of my house before I had to leave it were it came to a halt in the snow, Which was ok but if the gritters had gone out at about three when the first of the snow started falling and the roads turned wet I am sure the roads would have fine. Rant over for now.

Perhaps one should have taken one's tractor to work?
