I rarely have lunch at home but having had little to eat yesterday am a bit peckish today.

Lunch was going to be welsh rarebit until I got to the fridge and found we've run out of whole grain mustard and then went to the cupboard and found an empty Worcester sauce bottle. Thankfully the Cheddar I'm using up is a smoked one so added some va va voom to my lunch.

What is your favourite lunchtime nibble?

I love cheddar and beetroot sandwiches with a little onion running through. I might have to try you twist on it Rowan.

I'm working at home again today and haven't yet had lunch. Might have to have a poke around in the fridges to see what's on offer......
In this freezing weather, you can't beat a hot steaming mug of potato and leek soup - makes my mouth water just thinking about it.
