Self Removal of Skin Tags

Hi,

Has anyone tried the Dental Floss method of Skin Tag removal, where a piece of floss is tied tightly around the base of the tag and then allowed to dry up and fall off over the course of a week or so? If so, was removal successful and did the Tag ever return?

I have one on my left arm but as its part of me, (not unsightly) iv never felt the compulsion to remove it.

Hi Alba....I can't see that my method is any more painful or dangerous than what Philtaz has in mind.

Would be interesting to hear what Squad has further to say.

Well a few days ago I tried the tying method, using one of my hairs as well as painting over the tag with clear Nail Varnish and pleased to say the little blighter fell off some time today. No scar or sign that it ever existed.
