Facebook watcher
Hello I just heard of a site that can tell you who is watching your profie and reading your wall on Facebook. I think if this is true it goes against the privacy that Facebook gives. Anyone know about it?

Urban myth - actually impossible.
If you click through to one of these "see who's watching you" "see who's dumped you" pages they will be after your email address and the ability to post on your facebook page - or (worse) they will attempt to download adware/ spyware/ viruses onto your PC.

Quite right mick but it's not just Facebook. I found lots of personal information from right here on AB about users in a matter of minutes:

It's not quite true that only your friends can see your wall on Facebook.
I'm not signed up to Facebook but, believe me, it's quite easy, once you know someone's name, to view what they have on Facebook. I don't think anyone's privacy setting are 100% watertight, I don't think that's possible, so there's always a way.
I guess the answer is, if you don't want people to read it don't post it online.

What happens on facebook with all the "friends" they suggest you might know to add who are friends of friends which turn into 100's of names they ask if you want to add? I've tried to delete them all but it's way too many, have tried to find out how to stop them being suggested but I can't. I have settings set to friends or family only but still their friends are suggested by facebook to add to mine!
daisy if you say no to a friend request you should get a box up asking if you know them outside fb...if you tick no they cant add you again.
the only way i can think of that happening hc is if say i comment on a friends status and their friends will see it..... if i view my profile as public the only things i can see is posts that i have made public....
