How to contact Equifax regarding Ex

Hi, the blooming ex husband has been running around generating debt willy nilly and yesterday I got a bill from a debt collection company acting on behalf of a utility company. The amount is £400 + and like most of these letters it was not particularly pleasant. Why on earth I was mailed this bill instead of him flummoxed me as he has never lived at my address and we have been divorced for nearly a year and separated for years before that. I called the debt collection company and thank goodness they understood and believed me when I related the facts. They also advised me to contact Equifax as apparently we are still associated with credit report companies hence the mistake. I have been all over the Equifax site and apart from joining their scheme there seems to be no way of contacting them . Has anyone ever rang or emailed them ? Or any other agency ?

You can get a copy of your credit report for £2/3, if your ex shows up on it, just write and say you're divorced and no longer have any financial association with him.
If you get any more letters, don't open them and just write on them 'not known as this address' and put them in a postbox.
