Recognize the sound

Not really a riddle but more of a guess the sound kind of thing. I've been racking my brain over what kind of device/mechanism/thing makes the sound at the following location:

It's from a very specific thing and it sounds familiar but I can't place it. Especially note the softer click-clack mechanism sound inbetween the beginning and ending hard thud.

sounds like some sort of gear mechanism where teeth are finally coming together.. maybe some sort of timing device
