price of guttering

does anyone know what the price of new PVC guttering, fachias and soffits would be for a two bedroom detached bungalow. Thank you. I know it will only be an estimate.

Bearing in mind a bungalow uses twice the land of a house you end up with twice the amount of guttering. Mine was an arm and a leg albeit a good job, and would guess minus labour getting on £1,000 although as mine wasn't broken down that clearly it may well be less than that just for the parts. I'd pretty much say no more than that and quite possibly a few hundred less if you ask around.

I would say the total cost, including labour, will be well over £1000 even though, with a bungalow, you will avoid having to pay scaffolding costs

shop around and get recomendations, theres some real cowboys out there..A cheap quote will be exactly that, cheap and nasty..to the point of using what they call 'cover board' just to cover over existing fascias, in some intances it does work but not ideal. I had a guy knocking on my door for a few months the price started at £1,200 and he eventually come down to £600 !! (cash) done a bit of homework and found out he had a fearfull reputation.

Have a look at the B&Q website for an idea of how much guttering etc costs.

Everyone is assuming you are asking for a price for it to be fitted, but you haven't mentioned that.

Guttering and fittings ect for something similar cost approx 250 six months ago allow approx 250 for fitting .Tops 600.

I think it's the fascias and soffits that will push the price up well beyond £600, weecalf. We've had four quotes and they have ranged form £1800 to well over £3000

Paid £1300 last year for the same job on a semi detached house. (just to give you an idea) that is to take all old wood down and replace.(mates rates) Based on this I would guess at around £1500.00 to £2000 for a proper job to be done.

what comes in to reckoning is where you live .Any where near London triple it .

thanks for your help - yes I meant for someone to come in and do the job for me. I have had a quote from someone I know - and thought it was a bit pricey - but now - maybe not - I will just go ahead with it. thanks

i ended up paying £1,300 on a 4 bed detached, local company superb job.
