Microsoft Internet Explorer version 9

I have got Windows 7 and Microsoft Updates are telling me to install I E 9
please could you give me a simple YES or NO to my question

Is it any good.

I am not worried about speed or Google Chrome etc. i am just an OAP surfer
who likes games and surfing the net.

IE9 works OK with Windows 7
IE9 should be downloaded as part of your Microsoft Updates

I prefer Firefox.

Internet explorer is best avoided altogether.The updates are generally problem starters and it is not a safe browser. Try Firefox, far better and safer
