DVD drives & discs
2 Answers
My current computer has the following drive: AOpen 16x+ / 8x- Dual Layer DVDRW. (Or so the invoice says :) ). I don't fully understand what all that means, except that I can write to discs multiple times & use either + or - formats (or have I got that totally wrong?). A local shop has a BOGOF offer at the moment on DVDRW - 4x discs, would I be able to use them in my drive? If not, what should I be looking for? I would initially be saving mainly data and photos, but hopefully moving on at a later date to recording films. Any advice would be gratefully received. Cheers.
