Wii handsets

My Wii switches on and recognises the discs with no problem. However my handsets don't react with the screen. I can't get the arrows up but if I click A to move the main menu along a page it works.......please hellllppppp ????

Have you changed the batteries and re synched them

I'd say you just need to re-sync the handset with the wii itself. The sync buttons are inside the battery cover on the remote and under the little flap on the front of the console.

Exact instructions are in the manual that came with your wii, or there is always Google...

I should have said I'd obviously checked the batteries but thank you for the reminder about the re-synch, and where the buttons are which I've never had to do before. Goonermatt is hereby awarded "Best Answer" and many thanks !!!
