My sister went to Cardiff to see the ice skating last week,during her time in the city she came upon what she called an old facade with building behind it of some sort, either an office block or maybe apartments, sorry to be so vague but does anyone know what she might have seen?

any idea whereabouts it was in the city? This isn't uncommon if a facade has a preservation order on it, people build behind on condition that they keep the frontage.

She arrived at Cardiff Central went to the motorpoint arena and then to St David`s shopping centre and back to the station.

The old St Davids store has been converted into apartments, maybe she came across this.
