celtic van driver..
..This van driver,an ardent Celtic fan, would often amuse himself by scaring the bejeebers out of many a Rangers fan,by driving onto the pavement, narrowing avoiding the pedestrian..
..One day,he sees a Priest,hitch-hiking.Thinking he should do a good deed,he pulls over, and asks where the Priest is heading for?
"Well,my son.I"m trying to get to St.Josephs,2 miles,down the road,to say Mass",says the priest.
"Hop in Father,I"ll get you there,in no time",says the Hoops van man, cheerily.
Down the road a mile,a figure, clad in Blue,is walking...the Celtic van driver completely forgets the priest..and mounts the kerb, expertly avoiding the panic-striken pedestrian.at the last moment..
But there had been a very loud"THHHUUUDDDD"..Though he was sure he had missed..
He turned to the Priest,in shock and guilt,"Father, please forgive me,for such a near-miss,I lost control.."
The Priest turned,and with a sweet smile,he said.."Don"t worry son...I got the bu66er,with the Door.." ;0)
