where do you keep your keys?

I clip my keys to the right rear belt hoop and have done for over twenty-five years, probably since I was first given my own housekeys.
I've never given a moment's thought to where other people keep their keys when out of the house.
Where do you keep yours?

Door key in my bag
Spare key on a box high up by the front door if I'm just popping to put rubbish out or going to work (dont need purse etc at work)

In the door, on the rare occasions I go out then they are in my pocket which is zipped shut, I used to always keep them in my handbag until I lost my bag a few years ago and then had to break into my own house.

I keep mine in my bra - that way I can't lose them and it i easy for me to ckeck that I still have them. :-)

They stay in the door, it's only when I go away I lock up as the person who looks after my cat insists on locking up behind her...

If I'm out then I leave my house keys in the glove compartment in the car. If going on foot or by bus they are in my handbag or zipped pocket.

They are on the same ring as my car keys so in my handbag, pocket or door pocket of my car when I'm out.

My keys are in my handbag at all times; at home, at work or out and about.

Indoors we have a spare key for the doors whihc we use to lock them at night. They are then kept on keys hooks out of sight via the glass or letterbox but accessible to us incase we needed to get out in a hurry.

I'm surprised to hear people leave things in their cars. I would leave shopping in the boot out of necessity but not my phone, keys, purse etc.

Before leaving home,my small bunch of Keys goes in my back pocket of Jeans...and stay there til I get home..don"t think I have ever lost my Keys..nope!.. ;0)

Work keys are in my bag unless I'm at work - then they are in my pocket. House and car keys are in my bag or pocket if I'm out or lying on a table if I'm home.

If I'm at home door keys and car keys in the kitchen drawer with the knives and forks. When out door keys in glove compartment , car keys in jeans pocket. Have a spare door key in the garden pretending to be a mushroom.
