Thank God Sunday is nearly over, can't wait for Monday, my fav day of the week. People seem friendlier, brighter, full of 'get up & go' but Sat/Sun they curl up in their nests & hibernate.

Have you got a favourite day of the week? I know you workers love your Saturday & Sundays (I used to) but what weekday do you like best & why?

probably Sunday as that is the day that I have fewest calls on my time.
Definitely Sunday when the family come round.
I too like Monday's for similar reasons you say Jemisa but loathe Sunday..never ever liked Sunday's and don't know why.
Sunday. There's no post on Sundays!
Sunday, everything lovely happens on Sundays, lie-ins, antiques fairs, Sunday lunches, drinks with friends, driving just for fun not because you need to, pub quiz... Sundays- lovely.
Friday!
Same as Nox but also because of Sunday papers and crosswords all day and evening. Just finished (well abandoned skeleton) all done now.
ah, you'll be getting a new paper to read next Sunday, then, Nox...

This coming week I'll be looking forward to Friday. That's because (from tomorrow night) I'll be spending 5 nights in a Canterbury B&B. I've got to work (outside!) from 7am to 7pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday (with a long drive home after the final shift) but Friday will be my day to explore Canterbury!
Friday evening - no lunch boxes, followed by two whole days with all of the kids. Fab!
Ah Jno, Rupert Murdoch's new offering, amazing how he manages to hide that 666 on his head so well isn't it? I wouldn't wipe my...nevermind;-)

You'll enjoy it Chris, its a lovely place, not too far for us to go for a day out. Maybe a bit early now but Spring there is beautiful. Enjoy.

Sherrardk is clearly a mum in a million (because most mothers seem to dread spending extended periods with their children!) but I notice that hubby seems to have been forgotten at the weekend!
;-)
Thank you, Jemisa.

I've been to Canterbury many times before but all I ever seemed to see (when I was delivering cars) was the 1960s concrete bus station! I was actually there a year ago as well, staying in the same B&B for just one night. (Arriving on a Friday evening and driving home, after a 12 hour shift, on the Saturday evening). So I had no time to explore - but I still discovered an excellent pub just 2 minutes from the B&B ;-)
