Both of my legs are covered in bruises. One broke out on my thigh friday night (i havent banged myself at all) the thigh one was bright red and swollen and VERY painful and is now black and purple with green spots. I also have had a swollen red ankle since wednesday which has been utter agony to the touch. i can walk on it and bend it. AND to top it all off i started bleeding friday as well. could these all be linked? Ive just lost a SHED load of weight for no reason as well. i had an op on my back a few weeks ago. thing is every time i visit my Dr they always are unhelpful, disconcerned etc... (diagnosed me with a sore throat when i had a very bad case of mumps last time i went!)

Could anything really be wrong or am i just linking this all and really im probably just have a bad few weeks with my body sync?

You need to see the doctor,if you're not happy ask for a second opinion.sounds a bit like cellulitis but I'm no expert
Well you certainly need to see a doctor to get some antibiotics to treat the infection in your ankle. He/she might decide that there's nothing much else to worry about but your description of things suggests that your blood is failing to clot normally, so further investigation is probably needed.

no idea, but if your doctor is misdiagnosing things perhaps you should look for a new doctor? Or at the very least seek a second opinion, as bundleone says.
If you have a minor injuries unit near you, why don't you go there in the morning, if you have no confidence in the doc? where are you bleeding from....? Unexplained weight loss also needs investigation.
Here's one possibility:

NB: I'm most definitely NOT telling you that you've got leukaemia. (It's probably very unlikely). But I AM telling you that you'd be wise to get the possibility ruled out (and the real problem dealt with) A.S.A.P!!!
How old are you lourules?

Really?........not a good attitude.........

You asked the same question last Friday.....and my answer is the same.
Buenchico.....REALLY!!!!!!1

You give her a link to leukaemia and then tell her that you are NOT saying she has leukaemia....what sort of message does that give to a highly emotionally charged woman?
