Chummy......after sending my daughter to Roedean for her education, I would indeed be disappointed if she married a P.C in the East End of London.

Public and private schools now are magnets for some pretty dodgy types.

Any rough, loutish oik with "a bit of spare" can send their children to schools like that.

My daughter was a district nurse in the East End for years and we visited often.
We met grand folk and she never had any problems though 5 foot zero and 8 stone soaking wet. Does the fact that she runs a service in a good area now make her a better person?
