feel , as I do tonight quite depressed by some of the responses they read on AB. Things like do away with the bus pass for the elderly , thereby saving a bob or two. Chuck miscreants straight into the slammer and do away with the jury system , because for some of those called to act, it is a waste of their valuable time.
Where has humanity gone , along with compassion ? Are we as a nation now , so selfish , uncaring and greedy?
I despair tonight I really do.

don't forget do away with winter fuel allowance and taxing pensions but still force India to accept aid they do not require.

I sum this up as the need for moral leadership, not religous leadership, but, as I am mentioning that, something that the current Archbish of Cant seems totally bereft of...and most of our public officials too.
