AVC Light not working on Hitachi

I googled 'amber light flashing Hitachi' and it mentioned an AVC which should have a light on. Mine doesn't have a light on which makes me think the problem is with this box. Am I right and if so, is it expensive to repair or just not worth it ? thanks all.

I'm kind of puzzled: Your original post said there was a green light flashing, so why did you google "Amber light flashing"?

Why not tell us the model number?
