Having seen a couple of minutes of this programme, my OH is hooked, I think human bean is spot on! I very much doubt it is a typo.

'Human bean' comes from watching The Borrowers on TV many moons ago and I never forgot it ! That's what they called human beings, obviously.

When bored in a meeting I used to draw as many beans as I could think of. Runner, baked, jumping, broad etc. Got me through a lot of grief.

That just goes to show how excruciating the meetings were. Sleeping through them was apparently unacceptable.
