Drum heads

Should i stick to the Remo drum heads i got with my kit or should i go for a different make?? And if so can you point me in the right direction for which heads i should get?!

It's probably a matter of taste, but I always used Evans oil-filled, which gave a particularly clear sound, especially on the snare:
