How does he feel about me?
19 Answers
I recently met a guy, after being single for a few years. Being a bit rusty at the dating thing, I can't figure out what he wants. Originally, I think both of us totally expected our first meeting to be a one off, and not hear from hear each other again. But we text each other every day several times a day, call each other and we have met up a further twice in the past few weeks, and it has been him who has initiated the meetings. We have much in common, and make each other laugh when we are in each other's company. And it turns out we have both been single for an equally long time.
I don't want to ask him where he thinks we are going in case I scare him off, but I want to know if he wants this to be a proper boyfriend/girlfriend relationship, or just a bit of fun. I just don't see why he'd be texting me every day if all we are is a bit of fun. Any advice would be gratefully received!!

Sounds like a promising start , you can talk and you make each other laugh that is good very good. Just play along with it . Why not ring him and suggest a place to meet and see how he takes it, in his situation I would be delighted that the other party had taken the initiative for a change. It is not all the man who makes all the decisions now you know it is 50/50 .

Well, I have asked him out next weekend, and he's said yes. Don't know how enthusiastic the "yes" was, as it was by text, but I suppose he wouldn't have said yes if he didn't want to. I know I sound like a teenager, but I am actually 29, just have been single for so long I've forgotten what to do! :-D Thanks everyone for their advice!
