Are you like me and don't want a fuss over it of do you go the whole shebang and hold a party, complete with poppers, streamers, the lot!

Have any of you been to The Chinese Restaurants where one of your family have paid for the girls to come to your table with ice sculpture filled with fruit and sing Happy Birthday. Well guess what was done to me on my special birthday. I had just previously said to my kids that I would kill them if they did that to me .

My grandson will be 4 on Paddy's day. Hope family are doing something for him. He lives 150 miles away but I'd make the effort for my special wee man.

They're just another day to me. (I don't even get any cards).

My OH never remembered when my birthday was , he always thought it was in May, not March . So I used to choose a day probably in June , or July and tell my boys and OH that we would be having a barbeque when ever and to bring some wine , cos it was my birthday.Solved the problem , and we always had a brilliant day.
