triggerhappy - popular support does not equate with talent - if that were the case, then The X-Factor would be a better programme than NYPD Blue, and Westlife would be better musicians than Jeff Buckley.
Of course Whitney Houston was popular - and indeed talented - I have always taken strong issue with her technique of confusion volume with emotion, and tonsular trick-cycling with empathy.
